The Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) is the only statutory and fully independent industrial organisation in Hong Kong with over 3,000 corporate members in the territory. In addition, the Hong Kong Toys Council (HKTC) established in 1986, under the auspices of the FHKI, aims at promoting and fostering the interests of Hong Kong's toy industry in both the local and international arenas. The following are the objectives of the Federation and HKTC:
- To promote and foster the interests of Hong Kong's industrial and business communities;
- To represent members on the Legislative Council and various high-powered government advisory boards and committees;
- To enhance the industrial's status and representation;
- To encourage innovative ideas and solutions for continuous developments;
- To update members on business opportunities in Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas.
As a member association of the International Council of Toy Industries (ICTI), HKTC has a close relationship with ICTI, members of HKTC are assured to receive the latest information and development of the industry as well as ICTI Code of Conduct Program.
