To help the toy industry players understand more about up-to-date reviews of toy safety standards, testing and conformance requirements, a seminar on Toys Safety & Regulations Updates was jointly organised by Federation of Hong Kong Industries, Hong Kong Toys Council, The Toys Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong Limited and Hong Kong Trade Development Council at Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre on 8 January 2020. The seminar attracted around 100 participants.
Distinguished guest speakers including:
- Mr Joel B. Blank, Regional Product Safety Attaché for the Consumer Product Safety Commission's Beijing Office based at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, China.
- Mr Christian Wetterberg, Senior Director and Global Head Product Safety & Compliance, Toy Industries of Europe
- Mr William Wong, Asst General Manager, Laboratories, Toys & Hardlines, Intertek Testing Services HK Ltd.
